This guy is probably an upper level black belt who’s belt has turned white from use throughout the years. The same thing is happening to my old sensei’s belt. Plus there are a number of styles that deliberately have changed the arbitrary order of belt progression, even some with white belt at the top.
white belt is alla about punching and kicking and finding the correct stances…..WTF…? WHITE BELT technique…what do you do while in brown belt…telekinisis? we respect Kyo but all this myths around….. ashibarai can be usefull or if it is not perfomred properly might cause a lot of problems …..
NICE!! Karate is awesome!..by the way,the same in aikido is called “sokumen iriminage”..when done properly looks the same as in this vid. Greetings to all karate practicioners from aikidoka!
wow broken ribs ,thats the line i never cross ,that why when i spar with black belt i always ask for extra padding ,i love to preserve my ass i hear alot people getting injuries sometimes scare me ,one time almost snap my fingers back cause i blocked wrong the front kick, i was suppose ot re flexed the kick ,instead my fingers jammed with his force coming in,lucky i told him stop cause i would lost something else
yes i like to learn little of everything to cause i notice every system has its loop hole ,but i would be kinda scare to spar black belts cause sometimes he have little suprized on there own,one time i was counter by the punches that i feel it go thru you, with chess protector i think if wasn’t for that my ribs would be broken
dude i did couple of style in karate before and i never seen this technique before ,what style is this ?when i was in karate all they taught me was basic stuff and hitting the makiwara its was lame, also they made us step strike, step strike it was boring i was like i could learn this in boxing

You learn the movement in the air before you practice it on others, just like the punches and kicks.
And for the record, kyokushin.

Yeah, white belt technique my ass
What style lets beginners with no experience of control and technique, attempt to throw others to the floor?

Extra paddings is great to wear cause you relax a lot more and focus on technique and speed.
but some people tend to forget to condition their body, like tae kwon do fighters. They get a stomach punch without a chestplate, and get really hurt.

Yes, training with other styles is allways good. To know how they fight aswell.
Im allways battered and bruised from karate practice, it is harsher than the kickboxing. Sometimes you break a rib, haha it happens

well I do kyokushin and it is a white belt technique.
I love doing it while sparring with kickboxers or other styles. Cause they often dont know wtf happens. I love the Ashibarai.
